EXCHANGES AND RETURN POLICY
1. Eligibility for returns or exchanges
At Am:EL, we accept returns or exchanges of clothing only.
To be eligible for returns or exchanges, your item must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, with no stains (i.e. makeup, drinks etc.) and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, with the tags intact.
The returned item must be received by us within 10 days from the date of purchase (inclusive of Public Holidays and weekends) and should include the valid receipt that was sent to you with the original packaging.
Upon review and verification that the product is eligible for return as outlined above, we will refund the items in original payment method. If any free gifts were provided by us with the original shipment, the gifts must also be returned with the purchased item.
Unfortunately, we do not refund shipping fees.
Also you are responsible for the shipping costs to return the item.
2. Items that are not eligible for return or exchange
The following items are final sales and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Accessories (including but not limited to, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, belts etc.)
- Shoes
- Handbags
- Sale items
If you have returned items that are not eligible for return or exchange, we will contact you via e-mail as soon as shipment is received by us. We will re-deliver the item to your address and the shipping cost will be charged to you.
3. Returns for defective items
At Am:EL before the products are sealed to be shipped out, we check the products thoroughly to make sure there is no damage or defect. We also photograph the product in detail to provide you added peace of mind.
Despite our efforts above, if you have received a defective item, please e-mail support@the-amel.com with accurate colored photographs of the defect* within 24-hours from successful delivery along with your order confirmation number so we can investigate and assist you.
Kindly note, no refund for defective products will be provided after the first 24-hours from the successful product delivery. The refund will only be offered on a case-by-case basis upon our inspection and we reserve the rights to reject the refund for products that does not qualify as defect. We shall not be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses as a result.

Once product defect is confirmed and approved, we will send out the same product, subject to available stock. However, if the item is out of stock we reserve the rights to offer you a store credit (valid for 3 months from issuance) or refund through the original payment method.
*Defect does not include difference in color/product image accuracy based on your device’s display settings, misalignment of the seams, minor flaws such as loose threads, discoloring or scratches that don’t affect the overall look of the product, etc. Such products will not qualify as defective product and will not be subject to refund/exchanges.
4. Returns or Exchanges
As outlined above, we only provide exchange services for clothing. Only exchanges of the same item in different sizes or colors are permitted.
To request for a return or an exchange, please e-mail us at support@the-amel.com with the following detail:
- Original order confirmation number
- Your name
- Your mailing address
- The size and/or color you need exchange for (if not return)
Additional charges for delivery will apply and will be charged to you.
As Am:EL only carries limited quantity of each product, the size or color you are looking for may not be in stock.
We reserve the right to decline the exchange and offer you a store-credit (valid for 3 months from issuance) or refund through the original payment method once the product (and free gifts, if applicable) are returned back to us and is deemed eligible for return per the eligibility guideline outlined in bullet point 1.
5. Return or exchange process
To return or exchange your items, please follow the instructions below.

- refund through original payment method within 7 business days for returns;
- send the size and/or color of the product (clothing) that you’ve requested (if in stock) within 2 business days for exchanges. Additional charges for delivery will apply and will be charged to you.
PLEASE NOTE
- All shipping must be traceable, as we do not guarantee that your returned item will be received by us and we will not be responsible for lost packages.
- We do not provide refund in cash.
- Shipping fees are not refundable.
